Many thanks to the person who forwarded this to the Archive.
This edition of Voice of Revolution from the Communist Party of Ireland (Marxist-Leninist) joins others in the Archive. Its lead article under the headline Heroic Patriotic Armed Struggle is Just and Essential. And it notes:
In the early hours of last Sunday morning, a unit of patriotic armed forces were attacked by British SAS undercover forces as the patriots lay in wait in ambush having mined a nearby road. The patriots fought back heroically, killing one of the British fascist occupation troops. One patriot heroically laid down his life in this battle – Antoin Sean MacGiolla Bhridghde (Tony McBride).
Interestingly there is a full page on a Memorial Meeting in Memory of John Buckle, General Secretary of the Revolutionary Communist Party of Britain (Marxist-Leninist).
Another piece notes ‘militant demonstration denounces Thatcher’s visit to Dublin’. Another again looks at the Collapse of Irish Shipping. Articles are also to be found on Afghanistan, a Central Bank strike and the British Miners Strike. Another piece engages with the issue of conventional weapons.
One small additional aspect is the advertisement for the frequencies on which Radio Tirana can be received.
