Commentary From The Cedar Lounge Revolution

Many thanks to the person who forwarded this to the Archive. This is one of a timely selection of leaflets issued by the IPSC. As noted previously, the Ireland Palestine Solidarity Campaign was founded in 2001 to oppose Israel’s occupation of Palestine. It is an independent, non-party organisation.
The leaflet examines ‘Israeli Restrictions on Palestinian Food Sovereignty’ and depicts a plate of produce from West Bank and Gaza and how Israeli control and other actions has impacted on their production. The reverse side includes an outline of the Boycott, Divestment & Sanctions (BDS) campaign as well as a quote from Archbishop Desmond Tutu arguing that Israeli ‘has created an apartheid reality within its borders and through its occupation’.
