About
The World Socialist Movement is a socialist international founded by the Socialist Party of Great Britain. It is an impossibilist movement, rejecting the usefulness of political or economic reforms of capitalism.
It was represented in Ireland by the Socialist Party of Ireland, founded in 1949, which later changed it’s name to the World Socialist Party and appears to have been active sporadically until the late eighties or early nineties.
