About
The Labour Coalition was formed to represent left wing and labour groups in the Northern Ireland peace process. It included Militant, British and Irish Communist Organisation and others. It won no seats in the Northern Ireland Forum, but was alotted two seats based on overall votes gained. It was initially led by Mark Langhammer (Newtownabbey Labour Party), and later Malachi Curran.
